In the early days of Labrynna, the Lynel served as a menace to the young Kingdom, leading to intense conflict between the two. The Lynel were eventually defeated and driven west by the Labrynnians, who retained a cultural image of the Lynel as ferocious warriors and crafted ceremonial bronze masks in the image of them.
