The Sunken City, also known as Netook, is an old abandoned settlement of unclear origin located in Holodrum, and the de facto capital of the River Zora.
History[]
Its original name lost to time outside of ancient Arcadian records, the Sunken City was likely an ancient Arcadian or proto Horonian settlement that saw the migration of what would become the Akkalans southward.
The exact era in which it was drowned isn't known, but it was clearly swallowed by the Natzu River during one particularly nasty thaw season of the snowpeaks in the Eragou Mountains, possibly driving its inhabitants south toward what would become Horon.
In recent decades the River Zora. have swum upstream from the ruins of the Zora Dominion, taking over the drowned ruins as their main den.
